Tino Rangatiratanga Flag
I am glad that this is the chosen flag to represent Maori people across all levels of society. Kia kaha, Taima
People need to know the true significance of the He Whakaputanga Declaration of Independence flag. This flag recognises the Sovereign status of Tangata Whenua Maori and is the sister flag to the British Monarchy under Maori Trustee Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that is why it is the only flag in the world that gets a 21 gun salute. I like the Tino Rangatiratanga flag however it takes the focus away from the He Whakaputanga flag and that is what the NZ settler Government wants
